What counts as a seat? +
Any active user in your organisation account. Deactivating a user frees the seat immediately — you are never charged for inactive accounts.
Is the Starter plan really free forever? +
Yes. Up to 3 seats, all features, no time limit. No credit card required. When your team grows beyond 3, you simply upgrade to Growth at €9 per seat per month.
Can I change plans later? +
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from the Settings page. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the next billing cycle.
How does billing work? +
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Paddle (our Merchant of Record). Paddle handles EU VAT compliance automatically — you never deal with VAT filings.
Is my data stored in the EU? +
Yes. All data is stored on servers in Germany (Hetzner Cloud). We are GDPR-compliant, offer a signed DPA on request, and never transfer data to US-based subprocessors.
What happens to my data if I cancel? +
Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation. You can export a full JSON backup from the Account page at any time. After 30 days, data is permanently deleted.
